When You Give a Banquet

While sitting at a dinner table in Jerusalem and conversing with His host, Jesus said, when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous. When one of those at the table with Him heard this, he said to Jesus, Blessed are those who will eat at the feast in the Kingdom of God.
[Luke 14:13-15 NIV]

Welcome to Joni and Friends Chicago!

Joni and Friends was founded in 1979 as the disability outreach of Joni Eareckson Tada. The Chicago Field Ministry is the local expression of a global commitment to identify and meet the needs of those touched by disability. We seek to accomplish this by training the local church for effective outreach and ministry to the overlooked mission field of the disability community. Joni and Friends Chicago serves the North Central United States from our office located at 915 Harger Road Suite 210, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523.

Helpful Resource

At Joni and Friends Chicago, we know how hard it can be to do things for the very first time. That happens a lot in families with disabilities who have to go through experiences for the first time by themselves.
